- They have a whole different way of life in Alaska. Hunting, fishing & the like are the norm. Those of us that have the luxury of eating out, going to the supermarket everytime we need something or having a housekeeper or chef, find the Alaskan way of life very odd.

- I agree 100%. The show was very good and like her or not I've never seen another show so fascinating about Alaska. Why can't all of you hater's just get over the whole Sarah Palin thing. She's here and my guess is she's here to stay.

- Chris- I totally agree. Communication seems to be getting less and less personal. I have teenage kids that don't even want to call or write to relatives to thank them for gifts. They think texting is acceptable in this situation.
